Terms of Service

Effective April 29, 2026. By using SweetClarity, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

SweetClarity is an AI-powered decision-support tool. You ask a question, the system produces a structured analysis — recommendation, risk, pros and cons, scenarios, and a next step. It is a thinking aid, not a replacement for professional advice.

2. Not professional advice

SweetClarity is not a licensed therapist, lawyer, doctor, financial advisor, or any other regulated professional. Output is generated by a large language model and may be wrong. Don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. For those, consult a qualified human.

3. Account

You need an account to save topics and use credits. Keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity on your account. We use Clerk for authentication.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SweetClarity to:

  • Harm yourself or others, or seek instructions for doing so.
  • Generate content that is illegal, harassing, or violates someone's rights.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or our model providers.
  • Resell access or build a competing product on top of our API.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Credits and subscriptions

Subscriptions (monthly, quarterly, yearly) include a credit allowance that resets at the start of each billing period. Unused subscription credits do not roll over. Credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire while your account is active. Each model response debits credits based on the action's cost.

Billing is handled by Stripe. Prices, taxes, and currencies are shown at checkout. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on the recurring schedule you chose, until you cancel.

6. Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. We don't offer refunds for partial periods or unused credits. If you believe you were charged in error, email [email protected] and we'll review.

7. Your content

You retain rights to the questions and content you submit. By using the service, you grant SweetClarity a limited license to process your content through Anthropic's model so we can return a response, and to operate the product (storage, retrieval, backup). We do not use your content to train any model.

8. Service changes

We may add, remove, or change features as the product evolves, including adjusting credit costs for new actions. Material pricing changes for an existing subscription will be announced before they take effect.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, SweetClarity's total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from your billing page or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or for non-payment. Provisions that should survive termination (liability, acceptable use, governing law) will do so.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where SweetClarity is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
